Assisting the medical staff and surgeons at The Hand Center, Christopher J. Dillon, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant seeing patients in Hartford, Glastonbury, Tolland, and Bloomfield, Connecticut.

Christopher completed his undergraduate education at the University of Vermont in Burlington, where he majored in psychology.  He earned his master’s degree at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He gained invaluable experience working in a variety of health care organizations in roles, including research assistant, procurement technician, operating room technician, and surgical technician.

An avid researcher, Christopher has been published in Neuropharmacology and Alcohol and has presented his research at conferences of the Society for Neuroscience and the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants. He has received several awards for his work, including the Intramural Research Training Award from the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore, Maryland, and the John Dewey Award for Excellence in Independent Research. Christopher also received a grant from the Hughes Endeavor for Life Sciences Excellence (HELiX).

In addition to his health care experience and education, Christopher is an active volunteer in several organizations, including the National Kidney Foundation, National Liver Foundation, and the Area Cooperative Educational Services, a program that assists in the improvement of public education provided by 25 school districts in south-central Connecticut.
